“But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Whence then comes wisdom? And where is the place of understanding? God understands the way thereof, and he knows the place thereof. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding (Job 28:12; 20; 23; 28).” A Quote to Ponder: “Whatever is at the center of our life will be the source of our security, guidance, wisdom, and power.” Stephen Covey Job observes that man cannot discover wisdom. We can seek and seek our whole life through but without God we cannot know where the place of understanding comes from, only God knows that. God is not difficult nor is He hard to understand, as Jesus said his yoke is easy. We are the ones that make it complicated. We find wisdom when we surrender completely to the Lord and fall to our knees in worship of our God in whom is all truth and wisdom. Knowledge is the beginning of wisdom and wisdom is the beginning of understanding. God leads us in all understanding and we can determine any evil so that we can depart from it and live in God’s will. God calls us to make Him that center of our life, with God as our center He is the source of our security, guidance, wisdom, and power and we are completed. |

Note: Let me suggest that you read this in a King James Version. This version, in my opinion, is the closest to the original text. Do not use the New King James Version. Go to this link to learn more why this is so important: http://www.christianmissionconnection.org/html/study_topics.html. |
